According to the Korea Exchange on the 23rd, the KOSPI index finished trading at 2647.38 points, up 0.31% (8.09 points) from the previous trading day.
In the stock market, individuals net sold 142.3 billion won and foreigners 12 billion won, respectively, but institutions net bought 126.7 billion won, leading the index to rise.
Among the top 10 KOSPI stocks by market cap, LG Chem (-0.37%), Samsung Electronics (-0.15%), and Kakao (-0.12%) closed higher.
Samsung Biologics (1.36%), Samsung SDI (0.99%), LG Energy Solutions (0.92%), Naver (0.91%), Hyundai Motor (0.80%), SK Hynix (0.44%), and Kia (0.36%) rose closed
