The national computer security agency warns smartphone users
A warning was issued this Monday, July 4, 2022, by the National Computer Security Agency concerning a malicious program, ” Hermit which attacks Android devices.
The “Hermit” program is a spy program, for hacking personal data capable of sucking up all the data present on smartphones and even activating cameras and microphones.
« This “malware” is transmitted via a link that ends up installing the spy application “says the agency, which also called on smartphone users to be extra vigilant when installing applications or opening links” atypical ».
The agency also calls on users to install the application ” Web of Trust » which guarantees the security of the sites during navigation and to be equipped with an adequate antivirus. It was finally advised not to open emails from dubious sources.
