The Seventh Day TV presented special coverage, the route of the light electric train LRT, which was opened to the public to transport passengers from Adly Mansour to the Administrative Capital, after the completion of the construction of 12 stations and the testing of the train without passengers.
– The train has two directions, one for the new administrative capital and the other for the 10th of Ramadan city and branches off at Badr City.
– The train stations that operated from Adly Mansour to the Administrative Capital are: “Adly Mansour Station – Al-Obour Station – Al-Mustaqbal – Al-Shorouk – New Heliopolis – Badr – Al-Rubiki – Capital Gardens – Capital Airport – City of Arts and Culture.”
– The train stations to be operated from Adly Mansour to Asher City are: “Adly Mansour Station – El Obour Station – Mostakbal – El Shorouk – New Heliopolis – Badr – Industrial Zone – Knowledge City.” Then the rest of the stations for El Asher City will be completed in the fourth phase of the project, which is “West El Asher.” Tenth of Ramadan City Center
The electric light rail project achieves the exchange of service at the central interchangeable Adly Mansour station between a number of means of transport. It also exchanges service at Badr station with the Cairo-Suez railway line, in addition to exchanging it for passenger transport services with the fast electric train, Ain Sukhna, El Alamein, at the capital’s central station. And with the East Nile Monorail “the Administrative Capital” in the interchange station in the City of Arts and Culture in the Administrative Capital, which includes a commercial investment zone to maximize the investment return of the project.
The new transport system, consisting of 19 stations, is expected to accommodate 500,000 passengers per day. The electric train is implemented in 4 stages and starts from Adly Mansour station and then extends parallel to the Cairo-Ismailia desert road and then Badr City, and the train branches north to the 10th of Ramadan City and in the south. To the new administrative capital, to extend to the International Sports City, a SIM connects with the express train at the capital’s central station.
