Its main interest is to have its own operating system, Tizen, which allows it to operate independently, like a television. With the supplied remote control, you can launch the apps (YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Apple TV+, Disney+, Spotify, Apple Music, Deezer, etc.) and control all the settings. Samsung Smart Monitor M8 review: a (too) versatile connected screen

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 review: a (too) versatile connected screen

It’s an interesting product for those looking for a screen to do everything, but it has weak points: its wired connection is limited, you should not rely too much on its capacities for videoconferencing (microphone and webcam not developed) and its speakers are disappointing for a monitor intended for multimedia.

In a completely different genre, the LG UltraFine 24″ 4K and 27″ 5K monitors are still on sale at respectively 399 € et 799 €. In particular, they enjoy very good image quality and good integration with Macs.
