The Golden State Warriors clearly defeated the Boston Celtics in the Finals rematch 123-107. With Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson at their best, the Warriors had too much firepower for Boston.

“The Splash Brothers are splashing tonight” was well captured in the US comment, as Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry were both in very good spirits against the Celtics. Thompson scored 24 of his 34 points in the first half, hitting 14/26 from the field and 4/11 from downtown. Curry even hit 6/11 triples and accompanied his 32 points with 7 assists. In the absence of Andrew Wiggins, Jonathan Kuminga played an important role, assisting coming off the bench with 14 points (6/9 FG).
The Warriors took control after the initial phase and took the lead until the final whistle, but the Champs were only able to break away really far in the last few minutes. Without Robert Williams and Al Horford, the Celtics had few options in the big positions, Blake Griffin (13) started again. Significant support from the bench came only from Malcolm Brogdon (16).
NBA: Thompson hot in first half – Williams flies
