According to the Boston Consulting Group’s current Gender Equality Index, the proportion of women on the boards of the 50 largest listed banks in Europe at the end of 2021 at 22 percent. At the end of 2020, the proportion of women was 19 percent.
In the current BCG Gender Equality Index, the Norwegian financial service provider DNB leads ahead of the Irish AIB Group. In third place is Italy’s Unicredit, followed by ABN Amro, Bankinter, Commerzbank, Nordea Bank, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, ING and Deutsche Bank.
