Star Wars Jedi: Survivor release date has been delayed, and will launch in April instead of March

by Alexandra Hartman Editor-in-Chief

EA said: “Over the past three years, the Jedi team here at Respawn has poured its collective heart and soul into Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, and we’re proud to say that the next chapter in Cal Kestis’ story is complete. We are now fully focused on the endgame: bug fixes to improve performance, stability, refinement, and most importantly, the player experience.” The publisher added: “In order for the team to hit the Respawn quality bar, give the team the time they need, and achieve the level of kindness our fans deserve, we’ve added six crucial weeks to our release schedule – Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will now launch globally on April 28th.”

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was first announced in May last year. The story picks up 5 years following the events of Fallen Order and follows Cal on his journey to save the galaxy. The Empire tries to stop him with enemies new and familiar. As one of the last surviving Jedi Knights, Cal must protect himself, his crew, and the legacy of the Jedi Order. Just like the previous game, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is expected to feature great combat and amazing boss fights.
