Kollam ∙ The Congress marched to the resort where Chinta was staying, demanding the removal of Chinta Jerome from the state youth commission post. Youth Congress State Secretary Vishnu Sunil Pandalam filed a complaint with the GST Commissioner accusing Chinta Jerome of committing a huge fraud in the GST share to be collected as rent.
A four star resort in Thangassery has rents up to Rs 8500 during the season. In the complaint, the Youth Congress alleged that Chinta stayed at the Jerome Resort for one and three-quarter years and committed a huge fraud in the GST share payable as rent.
