This Sunday morning around 6:30 a.m., a VW Golf car registered in France, which came from Gaurain, would have swerved along the National 7 at the height of the interchange which goes on one side towards Leuze, on the other towards Pipaix. The vehicle would have continued its journey towards Leuze despite everything, but it caught fire a few meters further, along the Grand-Route.
The occupants of the vehicle fled. Firefighters from the Picardy Wallonia rescue zone as well as the Tournaisis police zone intervened on the spot. Shortly after 8 a.m., a breakdown service took away the charred car.
