HM the King Congratulates the National Football Team on Their Qualification for the Women’s AFCON Final (Morocco-2022) and the 2023 World Cup

Rabat – His Majesty King Mohammed VI, may God assist him, sent a message of congratulations to the members of the National Women’s Football Team for their fine performance at the Women’s African Cup of Nations (CAN) football (Morocco -2022), crowned by their qualification for the final of this competition and for the 2023 World Cup.

In this message, the Sovereign affirms having followed with great joy and immense pride the excellent course of the national team during the 14th edition of the African Women’s Cup of Nations football hosted by Morocco and which was crowned by the qualification of the Moroccan selection for the final of this continental competition and its historic qualification for the 2023 World Cup.

HM the King congratulated, on this occasion, all the components of the national team, players, coaches, technical, medical and administrative staff and the leaders of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, for this well-deserved achievement, the first of its kind. in the prize list of Moroccan women’s football, which adds to the achievements of Morocco, in various sports disciplines.

His Majesty the King also expressed his pride in the women’s national team which, throughout this continental championship, showed a very high spirit of competition, and signed an exceptional performance which constitutes a good example of seriousness. , perseverance and patriotism, to hoist the national colors high.
