Vienna – A basement fire in Vienna-Simmering on Friday followingnoon resulted in several slightly injured people and numerous evacuated people. In total, the professional rescue service said 22 people were affected, two of whom were injured. Of these, one person had to be taken to a hospital, a spokesman for the professional rescue service told APA. At around 2:15 p.m. the fire was extinguished except for embers, said fire department spokesman Jürgen Figerl.
