3 injured in head-on collision on the B120 in Gmunden

For an unknown reason, the two vehicles collided around 6:30 a.m. on the B120 in Gmunden. The force of the impact tore the engine block out of the woman’s car and trapped the 23-year-old driver.

The 54-year-old and his passenger – a 21-year-old from Grünau im Almtal – were thrown once morest the guardrail in the van.

When the fire brigade arrived, all people had already been freed from the vehicles, according to the volunteer fire brigade. The 3 inmates were injured and taken to the Salzkammergut Clinic in Gmunden.
