Al-Marsad Newspaper: A medical team from King Abdulaziz Hospital in Jeddah managed to save the life of a 3-year-old girl from suffocation.
The medical team extracted a piece of metal from her pharynx during an operation, while the Jeddah Health Authority reported that the child came with her family to the hospital emergency room, and she was in a state of continuous crying, difficulty swallowing, and loss of appetite.
The medical team performed an urgent laparoscopic operation to remove the foreign body, which turned out to be a coin stuck in the pharynx.
