Friday morning, around 8:05 a.m., a barge containing grain got stuck across the Meuse against the Fragnée bridge. The firefighters of Liège intervened on the spot, in order to unblock the situation with two pumpers and an officer vehicle as well as the frogmen.
Throughout the duration of the intervention, ie two hours, river traffic was interrupted.
Everything was back to normal before 10 a.m., after a pusher intervened to unblock the machine.
