Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg reported that former President Donald Trump was charged with 34 counts because he “arranged” a series of payments to buy people’s silence in 3 embarrassing cases before the 2016 presidential election.
In a statement, Alvin Bragg said, “A janitor in Trump Tower claimed to have information about a secret son of a billionaire who had received $30,000 to remain silent, while a woman had seized $150,000 in order to conceal a secret romantic relationship confirming that she had gathered with the former president, while an actress obtained ex-porn for $130,000 to say nothing of a sexual relationship she allegedly had with the former real estate mogul.
Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg insisted that he does not care about politics when deciding whether to charge someone with a crime.
After a fiery speech from his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida, on Tuesday evening, Trump renewed his criticism of the politicization of the judiciary.
And he considered, in a comment on his “Social Truth” platform, on Wednesday, that what the Democratic Party had done had not been witnessed in the country before.
And the former president strongly criticized, during his speech yesterday, the Attorney General in New York, Alvin Bragg, who filed criminal charges against him, in a precedent that is the first of its kind.
He also claimed that the aim of that case was to obstruct his path towards the 2024 presidential elections.
