A 10-year-old boy in Yubei District, Chongqing City, mainland China, was scolded by his mother for not finishing his homework. He went to the police station alone to complain and wanted to ask someone to send him to an orphanage. What he said made the police dumbfounded. Fortunately, the boy figured it out after patient persuasion, and went home with his father.

According to a report by the mainland media “Paper News”, a boy in blue clothes was at the gate of the Huixing Police Station, with tears in his eyes, saying that he was kicked out of the house by his elders, so he couldn’t go home, and wanted someone to send him to an orphanage . In this regard, the police first took him indoors, and the two sat on the iron bench next to him to chat.

After the boy calmed down, the police asked the boy the exact reason for leaving home, only to find out that the boy was scolded by his mother for not finishing his homework, and ran away in a fit of anger. He also revealed his parents’ phone number, after which the boy’s father rushed to police station.

In this regard, the boy’s mother said that when she saw that the child hadn’t finished his homework, she just scolded him a few times, but in the end he said that he was going out to “wander the world”. Fortunately, after patient persuasion by the police, the boy figured it out and decided to go home with his father.
