Months after the decisive Gulf position in the face of the hostile practices of some Lebanese parties and the mistakes committed at the level of official performance against the Gulf, which led to the withdrawal of a number of Arab ambassadors from Beirut, signs of a serious dissolution have emerged in recent days and the position issued by the Saudi Foreign Ministry, which was seized A series of local positions of political and spiritual forces keen on strong relations with the Arab Gulf, the latest of which was the position of Prime Minister Najib Mikati.

The online newspaper “Al-Anbaa” learned that last week contacts were active between the Gulf states and the Lebanese government through its president, and that in light of this, the Gulf-Lebanese relations are about to reach a breakthrough.

Informed sources revealed via Al-Anbaa that the Saudi and Kuwaiti ambassadors to Lebanon soon returned, noting that the French were part of the communications ring, while the head of the Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt, took over the coordination of these contacts, which led to the issuance of the Prime Minister’s recent position. Member of the Democratic Gathering bloc MP Wael Abu Faour to Riyadh as part of these endeavors.

While Saudi Arabia positively accepted Mikati’s position, the sources stressed that the Gulf return would constitute a political and economic outlet for Lebanon, provided that it would be the first stage of humanitarian aid.
