Rabat – The Chamber of Councilors is organizing a regional conference on Thursday in Dakhla on the theme: “advanced regionalization and the challenges of integrated territorial development: the Dakhla-Oued Eddahab region as a model”.
Organized in partnership with the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab, this conference, the third of its kind, is part of the preparatory work for the 5th edition of the annual Parliamentary Forum of the regions scheduled for this year, indicates the Chamber in a press release.
It also intervenes in the context of the policy of continuous openness of the Chamber on the concerns and aspirations of the different regions of the Kingdom, by virtue of its constitutional attributions.
The work of this thematic conference will focus on three main axes which concern “the exercise of specific and common attributions in the field of economic development: improvement of territorial attractiveness and strengthening of the model of competitiveness”, “administrative decentralization in the region of Dakhla-Oued Eddahab: fundamental pillar for integrated regional development” and “the local culture thing: what practice between the specific and the common”.
