The Zuoying Branch of the Police Department of the Kaohsiung City Government asked the 23-year-old person in charge of the martial arts gym surnamed Chen to come to the case to explain. The contestant was talking to others, but suddenly felt unwell, and was taken to Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital by on-site ambulance personnel and private ambulances.

According to the police’s preliminary understanding, the organizer hired three ambulance personnel to be at the competition site, and there were private ambulances on standby. The incident occurred immediately and the private ambulance was assigned to assist in transporting the event to Kaohsiung Veterans General.

It is understood that the player surnamed Lin is still being treated in the intensive care unit and his life is in danger.

According to the police, Lin Nan’s opponents may face related criminal responsibilities such as serious injury caused by promised injury and negligent injury in the criminal law. Among them, those who committed injury and caused death shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not less than 6 months but not more than 5 years, and those who cause serious injury shall be sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment of not more than 3 years ; The police will ask to come to the case to explain, investigate and clarify the legality of competition opponents and competition units.

The Sports Development Bureau of the Kaohsiung City Government stated that it will intervene to understand the responsibilities related to the event.
