When the police intervened shortly following 7 p.m., they were able to confirm the presence of a body. The latter was in the bathroom of the apartment. Justice was notified and an investigating judge descended on the spot.
According to the first elements of the investigation, it appears that the victim is a man, born in 1973. However, the identity of this person is unknown at this stage.
Thibaut, suspect, must still be heard. His testimony is essential to understand what exactly happened. The medical examiner’s report is also awaited.
We know that the victim’s body had been there for some time since the state of putrefaction was quite advanced. The Liège public prosecutor’s office does not wish to provide further details at this stage.
