Anatoly Ivanov, the manager of the administration of the Tomsk region, was charged with abuse of office. He was placed under house arrest.
According to investigators, from April 2021 to May 2022, the manager of departments “under the pretext of organizing working trips” sent official letters with his signature on the allocation of a helicopter “to the head of one of the organizations.” At the same time, according to the investigation, he reliably knew that the flights were made “for personal, non-work purposes.”
The damage from these actions amounted to more than four million rubles.
A criminal case has been initiated under Part 2 of Article 285 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (abuse of official powers). In relation to the defendant, the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest.
Information about the criminal case was published on the official social networks of the Tomsk police late in the evening of October 17, but on the morning of the 18th, these publications were removed. The vtomske.ru source confirmed the veracity of the information about the criminal case.
Anatoly Ivanov was born in 1954 in Leninogorsk, Republic of Kazakhstan. In 1977 he graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Power Engineering, and in 2000 from the Faculty of Economics of TPU. In the 70s, he worked in various positions in the Aleksandrovsky District Oil Pipeline Administration of the city of Strezhevoy.
In the 1980s, Ivanov headed the procurement department of the Strezhevoyneft oil and gas production department, served as an instructor of the Strezhevsky city party committee, chairman of the trade union committee of the Tomskneft association. In the 1990s, he worked for Tomskneftestroy, OAO Tomskgaz, and OAO Tomskgazprom.
From 1999 to 2012, Anatoly Ivanov was the head of the affairs department of OAO Vostokgazprom, and since 2012 he has been the affairs manager of the administration of the Tomsk region.
We add that on October 17 it became known about criminal case against the former deputy governor for construction and infrastructure, Yevgeny Parshuto. He is suspected of organizing and leading the abuse of office. The criminal case is connected with the construction of a school in the village of Kornilovo.
