Adnan Dinçer: Football philosophy

We are a nation that loves football. So much so that we are a society that makes a schedule to go to the game and allocates a share from its budget. The star football players we follow on the screen will not feed us! We are proud of the players of our team that we belong to! Even if we do not watch the beauties and results of the successful national matches that we have not forgotten for years, we will remember them. In our own league, we do not put dust on foreigners, football players we know by heart. We even pass it on to the next generation of whom we are parents. We are very fanatic. However, the real thing is to play contemporary football!

For some reason, the facts ahead show us the opposite. In the field of football, we sometimes make the mistake of taking care of people who do not care as much as their own situation; There are people we idolize and make excuses for their bad football. Our memory is not weak, but our fanaticism outweighs. When we mix it with our work, school and private life, we hug our football team and football. Because of these moments when we choose peace and fight very quickly, we miss the fact that the main truth in football is to review ourselves in order to reach it by working disciplined and right. Instead, we protect the football player by correcting and forgiving the wrong that we took refuge in with the result to be obtained, and by working out of the field instead of competing with our stubbornness.

We either destroy the person at that moment; we smash into the ground or make a god! However, sports and football are fields that require continuity. We deliberately forget this, those who philosophize about our forgiveness and forgetfulness take refuge in the media. The result is that we have to go beyond where we are in football. Education will take our place in this cruel industrial world! Now I ask clearly: When? Reaching a good, true and beautiful identity enables us to do this!
