A big problem occurred, at dawn today, Saturday, between the Khamis and Munther families in the Al-Raml Al-Aali area – the southern suburb, against the background of previous problems between the two families.
In the details obtained by the “Lebanese Debate”, the Khamis family prepared an elaborate ambush for the Munther family at dawn today, which resulted in a death and a number of wounded, including Hussein Al-Musawi, who died, and he is the son-in-law of the Munther family.
Four people from the Munther family were also injured, two of whom are in serious condition, Hussein Munther, who was shot twice in the head, and Ali Munzer, who was also wounded by two bullets in the abdomen.
Immediately, the security forces imposed strict security measures.
As mentioned, investigations are being conducted in the Burj Al-Barajneh faction under the supervision of the Appeal Public Prosecutor in Mount Lebanon, Judge Raed Abu Shaqra.
In contact with the “Lebanese Debate”, the legal representative of the Munther family, lawyer Ashraf Al-Moussawi, called on the security forces to pursue the perpetrators, imprison them and obtain the maximum penalties.
