A destructive intelligence scheme sponsored by “thousands of displaced persons”!

Former Interior Minister Mohamed Fahmy said, “Security has really vanished, state institutions have disintegrated, and there are no institutions left. All systems have vanished and are heading towards dissolution.”

In an interview with “Spot Shot” via “Point of View”, Fahmy said about the presidential election: “The issue is far-fetched. The available data do not indicate a reality that there could be presidential elections.”

He added, “The political role of the Shiite duo in 2016 was stronger than its role today, and now it cannot deliver a president on its own, and there must be regional consensus and non-objection from regional countries, especially Saudi Arabia.”

Fahmy continued, “The most appropriate solution is to elect a president, regardless of his name, and I hope that the army commander, Joseph Aoun, will reach the presidency, as I am a former brigadier general in the army.”

And he continued, “Unfortunately, I do not think that the presidential elections are close, and there is a fear that if we do not elect a president before July, the presidency will be carried over to the year 2024.”

Regarding the dispute between the Minister of Defense and the Army Commander, he replied, “I think that Defense Minister Maurice Selim is under political pressure from a certain side because of a disagreement between him and the Army Commander, because the latter did not reach the presidency.”

Regarding the security situation, Fahmy stressed that “with the presence of the army and security institutions, no one can carry out acts that violate security. Chaos results in deterioration at all levels.”

And he added, “I said that there is a sharp fall of the community security system, and there may be some breaches of security, and this is normal in such a difficult economic situation, but there is a preemptive security that eliminates all phenomena that can happen.”

Fahmy explained, “Lebanese security is exposed, and more than half of the NGOs in Lebanon are supported by internal and external security agencies, and I am responsible for my words. Most of the NGOs operating in Lebanon are affiliated with intelligence services and have political goals, and some of them seek to fragment Lebanon in all respects, and it has fragmented.”

He pointed out that “during my time in the Ministry of the Interior, I met an official of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, and she told me, “We do not want to work to return the displaced Syrians.”

Fahmy stated, “There is a plan for demographic change in Lebanon and the settlement of Syrians and Palestinians. Lebanese institutions have been dismantled and analyzed for this purpose.”
