The Criminal Investigation Department of the Giza Security Directorate revealed the circumstances of the theft of a mosque under a property in the Ard al-Liwa area, and the thief left 3 messages saying, “Forgive me, Lord, my mother is tired in the hospital.”
The monitoring unit followed the circulation of a post on one of the pages on the social networking site “Facebook”, including a person’s claim that a mosque erected under the property owned by him in the Ard al-Liwa area was robbed.
On examination, it was found that the allegations that were circulated were incorrect, and that the fact of the incident is that the property referred to is without a license and a decision was issued to remove it, and the property owner alleges that there is a mosque under the property and that it was robbed several times to prevent the implementation of the removal decision.
Emancipation of the record too much of the incident, and notified the public prosecutor to investigate.
