A family of French tourists decimated in an accident in Morocco

A family of French tourists was decimated last week in a traffic accident near Taznakht in the wilaya of Ouarzazate, Moroccan media reported. It closes.

This information was clarified by our colleagues from Progress. Three people were burned alive during this excursion: they were grandparents and their granddaughter.

The accident reportedly happened after their vehicle veered off the road and overturned in a valley at a bridge, which caused a fire inside the vehicle.

The surviving couple, the parents of the young girl, should be repatriated in the middle of the week in France.

According to the Moroccan press, the family was taking a ride in a buggy on the regional road linking the centers of Agdz in the province of Zagora and Taznakht.

The three victims are said to have lost their lives before the arrival of civil protection rescuers.

An investigation was opened by the royal gendarmerie, to reveal all the circumstances of the accident.
