The American space agency “NASA” published an amazing image of a unique hole on the surface of Mars with strange and luminous edges that gave it an appearance similar to a human fingerprint, according to scientific sources.
The crater in the new scenes is known as Airy-0, a depression about half a kilometer wide and located inside the large Airy crater, meaning it is a crater within another volcanic crater.
According to the article published in the scientific journal “livescience”, which likened the small crater to a clear human footprint, the large “Airy” crater is about 27 miles (43.5 km) wide.
The image was taken during the High Resolution Imaging Science Experiment on NASA’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter.
It is worth noting that astronomers had chosen the large crater in 1884 to determine the meridian separating the east and west of Mars and set it at zero degrees, which separates the eastern and western halves of the planet.
