Al-Marsad newspaper: Kuwaiti journalist Mai Al-Aidan revealed that her compatriot, Amal Al-Awadi, had retired from art after her marriage to a prominent personality.
May Al-Aidan published a picture of Amal Al-Awadi on her Instagram account and commented: “Congratulations to the artist Amal Al-Awadi on her marriage,” stressing that the marriage took place with a distinguished Kuwaiti personality in a quiet and limited family manner.
Al-Aidan explained that Amal Al-Awadi’s retirement from art after marriage is not the first time, as she had previously retired from her first marriage to the father of her only daughter, Munira, and returned to art after separation.
Mai indicated that Al-Awadi prefers family life over art and fame, saying: “The reason is Amal Al-Awadi’s complete conviction and preference for family and social life over art, fame and the media.”
