Throughout the weekend, the Palais des arts became the temple of magic and magicians with the sixth edition of the Magic Festival, organized by the Rennes producer couple Monique and Gérard Souchet.
Three major shows with twelve international artists, a photo exhibition on the theme of “Magiciennes” in the hall, Gérard Souchet’s show “La maison de mamie Yvette” for toddlers and children’s workshops led by Strobineler (magician in Breton) have indeed allowed everyone, young or old, to dive into the world of magic.
Do not reveal towers
During the Saturday morning workshop, 18 children, aged 7 to 12 were able to discover the tricks, with playing cards, goblets and other balls of the magician Strobineler and even learn the secret. But, at the very beginning of the workshop, Strobineler had made them take an oath, with their right hand raised, to “Not reveal the trick so that the magic continues to live”.
