[아이뉴스24 이정민 기자] Prosecutors have asked for three years in prison for a man in his 40s who was handed over to trial for throwing a soju bottle in front of former President Park Geun-hye’s residence.
On the 5th, the 1st Criminal Division of the Western Branch of the Daegu District Court (Chief Judge Im Dong-han) held a decision trial on Mr. A (47), who was charged with attempted special injury.
The prosecution demanded three years in prison, saying, “The accused claims that he committed the crime to inform the People’s Revolutionary Party, but the testimony is very unreliable.” .
Person A appealed for leniency, saying, “I am very sorry that it caused a social scandal.”
Previously, Mr. A is accused of throwing a soju bottle in front of the residence of former President Park Geun-hye in Dalseong-gun, Daegu on March 24, shouting ‘Apologize for the Inhyukdang incident’ to the victim.
