The Dispatch reports, Friday, April 1, that the city councilor requested the vote of the municipal council to release 60,000 euros in order to offer a full tank of gasoline to each household. However, the mayor told the local daily that owners of second homes will not be affected: “This concerns the households that live in the village as their main occupation”. A thousand households among the 20,000 inhabitants of Burlats will therefore be entitled to this privilege. To do this, the municipality will distribute to the inhabitants vouchers worth €60, including QR codes, to the inhabitants. They will be valid at the Super U service station in Castres. At last, The Dispatch specifies that to release and be able to support these funds, the municipality had to postpone a tarring operation until next year.
