Al-Marsad newspaper: The weather analyst at the Meteorological Center in Jeddah, Aqil Al-Aqil, said that the rains reached very heavy in the Asir, Jazan and Madinah regions, and led to a large flow of torrential rain and the formation of valleys in Jazan and Asir.
He added, during an intervention on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel, that the weather situation is also expected to continue and its impact on Jizan, Asir, Najran, Al Baha, Makkah, Madinah and its coasts, Tabuk, Hail and Qassim.
He continued: It is the warm and humid southern winds that fuel this instability, and this coincides with northerly to northeasterly winds that lead to a rise in temperatures, and therefore it will reach 49 and 50 degrees at noon today in those areas.
