A mid-year report for the year 2021 issued by the Ministry of Health (Patient Experience Measurement Program) revealed the performance of health departments, hospitals, outpatient clinics and specialized centers outperforming the northern regions. While the report alluded to a decline in the service and performance of hospitals and primary care centers in Taif, which was at the bottom of the list, and before that, the second Riyadh health cluster, in which Al-Baha excelled, followed by Jazan.

The report of the Ministry of Health indicated that Taif was at the bottom of the list of measuring patient experience with regard to neonatal intensive care, which came at the forefront of Bisha, while the twentieth place was recorded, followed by Najran and Al-Qurayyat, in a list of the program for measuring patient experience and hypnosis, which was topped by Jeddah and then the Eastern Health Complex.

And it was required to rank 20 in the list of kidney centers, which was topped by the northern border and appended to it by the courtyard, and its rank improved by one degree, as it scored nineteenth in measuring the performance of virtual clinics and maintained it in the performance of hospitals and outpatient clinics.

In the list of blood bank centers, their situation improved, as it recorded the sixteenth rank, which was topped by Al Sharqiya, and the same sixteenth rank was recorded in the heart centers, whose list occupied the northern borders, while its rank came eighth in the list of patient experience in emergency, which was topped by Hafr Al-Batin and appended to Al-Jawf.

With regard to the report on sugar centers, which topped the list in Bisha and then the northern borders, Taif ranked tenth, while Hafr Al-Batin came last. It scored superiority in the fifth place, while Al-Qunfudah came at the bottom of the list, which was led by Najran and then the Northern Borders. These numbers were the subject of criticism from some residents of Taif, who described them as lagging centers that indicate poor performance, and at the same time sounded the alarm about the importance of expediting the treatment of these numbers that do not satisfy them and do not satisfy even those in charge of health, asking how the situation will be while they are waiting for the launch Work in the health pool. At the same time, they called on officials in the Taif health department to find out the causes, find the necessary solutions, address the overcrowding in clinics and specialized departments, and provide for the shortage that some departments complain about.
