Baghdad / Obelisk: A security source said, on Friday, that the Kormor gas field in the city of Chamjal, Sulaymaniyah Governorate, was hit by a Katyusha missile.
A security source said that the Katyusha rocket landed near the gas field, and did not cause any damage.
The city of Khor Mor is located in the Sulaymaniyah Governorate in northern Iraq and has been attacked in the past.
The Pearl consortium and the Emirati energy company Dana Gas and its subsidiary Crescent Petroleum own the rights to exploit Khor Mor and Chamchamal, two of the largest gas fields in Iraq.
