War correspondent Andrei Rudenko reported on Wednesday in his telegram channelthat in one of the shops of the Azovstal metallurgical plant in Mariupol they found a morgue where the nationalists kept the bodies of the dead.
“The spectacle is not for the faint of heart,” Rudenko writes.
Earlier it was reported that Russian sappers are demining the territory of Azovstal.
Since April 21, a large group of Ukrainian nationalists and military personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has been blocked at the metallurgical plant.
On May 16, Ukrainian militants began to surrender to Russian servicemen, as a result, every last one surrendered. Leaving the labyrinths of the Azovstal workshops, the nationalists blew up their remaining ammunition.
In total, 2,439 nationalists and servicemen of Ukraine laid down their arms.
Earlier on Wednesday, it was reported that in Mariupol near the territory of the old cemetery found a mass gravewhere 300-400 people can be buried.
