The British newspaper “Daily Mail” revealed an exciting development in the field of cancer treatment, after discovering the impressive effect of a new drug in eliminating colorectal cancer.
The newspaper said, in a report published today, Tuesday, that a new treatment for cancer amazed doctors and researchers, after the amazing results it achieved in the initial clinical trials, after its success in achieving a 100% cure rate for patients who received treatment.
The newspaper pointed out that Dostarlimab, which was recently licensed to treat cancer in Britain, broke all expectations during clinical trials on patients at a cancer treatment center in New York.
She added that a year after trying the new drug on 18 cancer patients, the doctors were surprised that they had completely recovered from the malignant disease, and that there were no traces of cancer in their bodies.
The newspaper considered that, although the scope of the experiment is small, the results achieved represent a fundamental and important transformation in the treatment of cancer, and could pave the way for this treatment to be a hope of putting an end to the most dangerous diseases of our time.
It quoted Dr. Luis Diaz, a member of the White House Advisory Council on Cancer, as saying: “I think this is the first time in history that a treatment has achieved these amazing results. .
He continued, “We are studying whether this same method may help in treating other cancerous tumors, and we are currently registering patients with stomach, prostate and pancreatic cancer, to try the new treatment on them.”
