United Nations Secretary-General António Guterres condemned the attack on Abu Dhabi and called on all parties to “exercise maximum restraint,” according to his spokesperson.

Spokesman Stephane Dujarric added that Guterres asked the Houthis to “prevent any escalation in the context of heightened tensions in the region,” noting that “attacks against civilians or civilian infrastructure are prohibited under international humanitarian law.”
