From February to May 2022, a 32-year-old woman, irritated by her son’s disobedience and realizing that the child was still small and helpless, tied his leg with a metal chain to the wall of one of the rooms in her apartment. The boy was deprived of his liberty, experienced physical pain and mental suffering.
A criminal case was initiated against a resident of Nefteyugansk under clause “e” part 2 of article 127, clause “d” part 2 of article 117, art. 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (“Illegal deprivation of liberty of a person, torture and improper performance of duties for the upbringing of a minor by a parent”). The court took the accused into custody.
