Popular singer Ricky Martin has been given a restraining order, according to US media outlet Page Six.
A judge signed the order on Friday and the police tried to give it to him during the day without being able to find him.
“So far, the police have not been able to locate him,” authorities say.
In a statement, the singer’s clan denied the information.
“We are sure that when the facts are revealed, it will demonstrate that the actions of our client, Ricky Martin, were fully justified,” said the singer’s spokesperson.
The identity of the person who requested the restraining order has not been released, as the person fears for his safety, according to authorities.
