After a blank year due to the health crisis, ski resort professionals are reassured. The reservation books are full, and the conditions are met: snow and sun. Report in La Mongie, in the Pyrenees.

Saturday 19 February din the Pyrenees, skiers flock to the slopes and restaurant terraces. The clientele is made up of holidaymakers from Aquitaine and the Great West of France. The school holidays begin, this time for the academy of Toulouse (Haute-Garonne). An even closer clientele will therefore flock to the ski resorts of the Pyrenees. This is the peak of attendance for a season that is very well under way.

The closure of the lifts the previous winter gave way to the joys of skiing. Thanks to early snowfall, weekends under the sun, the Grand Tourmalet (Hautes-Pyrénées) shows a 10% increase compared to 2019 in passes sold. This season is shaping up to be a great vintage, and reservations in holiday residences are continuing at a steady pace.
