After repeated attacks in the Kuwait Center for Mental Health, the Ministry of Interior responded to the demands of the Ministry of Health, to provide a fixed security point that works around the clock, to protect doctors and health cadres in the center, on the instructions of the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Ahmed Al-Nawaf and Undersecretary of the Ministry Lieutenant-General Anwar Al-Barjas .
Informed security sources specified, in a statement to Al-Rai, the tasks of the security point of the Public Security Sector, to protect medical personnel, in addition to maintaining security, rapid intervention and control of any person trying to commit an attack, noting that this is the case in all health facilities, whether hospitals. or vital health sites.
The sources stressed the implementation of the directives of Al-Nawaf and Al-Barjas, on the need to cooperate with government agencies, in terms of any request for security protection, and to provide elements of the “Interior” to extend security, especially with service agencies, which will not hesitate to provide them immediately, in terms of protecting society from any aggression, and deterring negative phenomena. and confronting any manifestations of violence in the country.
