The police of the Asir region (southern Saudi Arabia) opened an investigation into the beating of a 6-year-old child, who suffers from autism, at the hands of an expatriate “specialist”.
In the details, the child’s mother, Youssef bin Muhammad Ali Asiri, revealed that she was advised through the “Autism Families Association Group – Abha Branch”, which brings together mothers of children with autism, to send her son to that specialist on the pretext that she is experienced in teaching children with special needs on the go. The toilet, functional behavior, and communication, according to what was reported by “Sabq” newspaper, today, Saturday.
She also added that she contacted the specialist who requested that the child be alone during his sessions at her home three days a week, four hours a day. However, in the sixth session, she was surprised by a call from the woman telling her that her son was suffering from a high temperature; And needs treatment, and eternity to sleep.

And she continued, “When I came to receive him, I was surprised by bruises on his face, and traces of a pinch on his chest as a result of being subjected to violence and beatings.”
When the specialist asked about the reason, she replied that there was no one else in the place, and a small child, and he could not be the last behind what happened.
The mother also said, “I insisted that the truth be clarified, or else I would file an official complaint with the police, who responded with mockery, ‘complained’.” This prompted the child’s mother to file an official complaint with one of the police stations in Abha.

In addition, the mother explained that yesterday she received a group call to the mediator and the specialist, who admitted in her speech that her husband had assaulted the little one.
Umm Youssef demanded that the expatriate and her husband be brought to justice, denouncing how she plays the role of a specialist in her home, and the validity of her claim that she specializes in the same field in the first place!
