Al-Marsad newspaper: Hisham bin Ali, a specialist in human resource economics, said that the health sector is one of the most draining sectors for the economies of countries.

He added during his meeting on the “Huna Riyadh” program on the “Al-Ikhbariya” channel: Caring for patients and citizens is a major responsibility, and the state cannot play a role in treating the patient and at the same time it has a financial resource from this process and at the same time it must provide free services to citizens.

He continued: This idea aims to serve the citizen so that he can benefit from all services in hospitals, whether in the government or private sector through medical insurance, and this would impose new challenges on society and the health sector.

He continued: The step is good, and we thank God that it came at a time when the Kingdom is going through a “package” of challenges and a large amount of economic activities that contribute to raising the Kingdom’s economies, raising national income and ultimately the welfare of the citizen.
