Al-Marsad Newspaper: Dr. Ibrahim Al-Arifi, senior nutritionist, said that the nights in winter are long and cold and require energy and additional meals unlike summer, so people need heating, including clothing and food.
He added during an interview on the “Saudi Arabia” channel: It is necessary to exercise to maintain weight, and sometimes people come out of the winter with extra weight because of eating a lot of meals that contain ghee, honey, dates and fatty foods.
And he continued: The more a person exercises and drinks water, the better he becomes, because water is important, which is life, and clots abound in winter due to not drinking water and lack of movement.
