For his part, Ghazi Al-Mozan, a specialist in automotive thermal insulators, spoke about the quality and advantages of thermal insulators for cars, saying: “Many counterfeit and fraudulent thermal insulators have spread, and the Standards, Metrology and Quality Authority warned last October against cheating in thermal insulators.”
He continued: “The Standards, Metrology and Quality Authority called on consumers to refer to the code for thermal insulation or the company’s website to know the standards for thermal insulation, including ultraviolet, infrared and heat absorption, and this is what the customer needs to be aware of.”
He pointed out: “Many of the counterfeit brands are in the market at fantastic prices,” reviewing a certificate from the Saudi Standards and Metrology Organization with the efficiency of thermal insulation products and protection films, which contains all information about the product and the percentage of thermal insulation and efficiency, in addition to a certificate from the American Standards and Metrology Organization with the quality of the product.
He continued: “The thermal insulation is distinguished by its quality that it is ceramic, reduces the sun’s heat from entering the car, and preserves the special tools in the car, in addition to preserving the vehicle’s leather.”
