The origin of the strike movement comes from the airport security staff who wanted to show their disagreement with BSCA Security.
According to RTL Info, the strike broke out around 2:30 p.m., preventing passengers from entering the airport for an hour. Around 4:00 p.m., the departures hall was packed.
The extent of the disruption is not yet known. The management of BSCA Security should communicate on the subject on the evening of this Sunday.
