Syrian artist Wafa Mosalli revealed that she was exposed to a difficult situation years ago when a doctor forgot a needle in her body while she was undergoing surgery.
Wafaa Moussalli said during an interview with the program “The Book of Fame” presented by Ali Yassin: “In 2007, I had a problem with the thyroid gland and my weight was going to increase a lot. I underwent surgery, and there was a doctor responsible for the number of “needles,” but it seemed that he forgot the “needle.” “Or it fell inside my body and they couldn’t get it out.”
She continued: “I did not feel anything, and there is a membrane around the needle so that it does not move or hurt me, and in its place is a memory.”
Wafaa Moussalli revealed during the meeting that she had prepared her grave and said: “In the end, we will die, and sometimes I write my own obituary, and I wrote my will in the Actors Syndicate because we have a specific amount and I wrote to whom I will give it to, and I asked for my funeral to be simple because the public now focuses on the actresses’ clothes and who went to the funeral.” And whoever does not go, I also do not want the presence of the media I want on a spiritual day.”
On the other hand, Wafa Mosalli underwent open heart surgery last June.
Wafa Mosalli revealed that she hid her illness from her daughter and did not even tell her that she would undergo surgery. She said that her daughter is an engineer working in Dubai, and she was afraid that she would tell her and come to her while she still had a long time to obtain approvals from doctors before performing the operation, and it would also affect her if She saw fear and anxiety in her, and even her siblings did not tell all of them about her condition.
Wafaa Moussalli, a Syrian actress, born in November 1959, graduated from the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts in Damascus. She made her artistic debut in 1980, and in 2001 she was appointed director of the Acting Department at the Higher Institute of Dramatic Arts.
She married the artist Jamal Suleiman, and their marriage lasted seven years, then they separated, after which she married a gynecologist named “Samer” and gave birth to her only daughter, “Naya.”
Among her most famous works are “Alive in Love,” “Sham Days,” “A Neighborhood Forgotten by Time,” “Baba Al-Hara,” “Haret Al-Qubba,” “Spot of Light,” “The Mill of Evil,” and other works.
