As detailed by Civil Protection, they received a call to the emergency center in which they warned about the fall of a light pole that left different areas of Cipolletti without electrical service.
At the scene, they also found fallen trees that made traffic on the roads difficult. «We were working together with Edersa personnel to normalize the service«, they commented.
From Edersa they detailed that «the fall of a large poplar tree on the medium voltage lines in the rural area of 5 Esquinasin the town of Cipolletti, generating a cut in the electrical service.
The incident occurred around 4 p.m. and affected 4 Esquinas, Ferri and other surrounding areas, as explained.
Edersa personnel quickly arrived at the site and commented that “despite the inclement weather, they managed, through different configurations and sectioning, restore the supply in Ferri and 4 Esquinas”.
They announced that this Monday they will continue with the final repairs, «the construction of a new substation and the placement of another distribution transformer. In the afternoon the service would be restored in 5 Esquinas,” they reported.
