On the afternoon of January 19, publisher Galaxy Studio suddenly announced that “Super trick meets super muddy” will not be in theaters on January 22 (ie the 1st of Tet) as planned.
The publisher said that this change was made according to the wishes of the film director and producer.
On his personal Facebook, director Vo Thanh Hoa also made a post, sharing that this change was to ensure the right time, bringing better audience access conditions for the film.
Accordingly, the opening date of “Super donkey meets super mud” will be changed to March 24 instead of January 22 (ie the 1st of Tet) as originally.

Thus, currently there are only 2 Vietnamese movies left in theaters on the first day of the Lunar New Year Sisters and sisters 2 Directed and filmed by Vu Ngoc Dang Madame Nu’s house Directed by Tran Thanh.
Previously, director Vo Thanh Hoa once said that there were only 3 Vietnamese movies in theaters during Tet. He also affirmed that there was no pressure when filming Super donkey meets super mud in theaters at the same time as Madame Nu’s house and Sisters and sisters 2. The male director also affirmed that he had no intention of competing with Vietnamese films released at the same time, but just wanted to contribute to bringing quality Vietnamese films to the audience.
“I think the three films that are coming to theaters this time are all quality films. To me, Mr. Tran Thanh and Mr. Vu Ngoc Dang are veterans, in fact I have never had any thought of confronting or competing with you guys. all,” shared Vo Thanh Hoa.

Vo Thanh Hoa also said that the film was filmed mostly in Phu Quoc (Kien Giang). Because the filming location is far away, the filming cost is quite high. However, Vo Thanh Hoa still affirmed that “before thinking of myself as a businessman, I must think of myself as a filmmaker”. The male director said that he always tries to do his product well, instead of putting the budget issue first.
