Rather than throwing them on a train, he would have been better off walking on eggshells. At the end of April, an 18-year-old from Zurich threw his shell projectiles at the windshield of an SBB train parked at Wohlen station (AG). It also covered the interior of the vehicle. A “quip” which now costs him a lot. The young man will have to pay 1130 francs, including 630fr. of charges. The fine of 500fr. was imposed for violating environmental law. In addition, the cost of cleaning amounted to 250 francs. The Zurich resident’s motivations remain unclear.

Fines for violating environmental law can cost much more than in this case. They can amount to up to 50,000 francs if, intentionally or not, you have “left waste lying around, thrown away or stored in places not authorized for this purpose”.
